About Us
The Great Steampunk Affaire (GSPA) is dedicated to organising Steampunk themed events and workshops, cross-promoting emporiums and services, and ensuring lashings of superbly-dressed tea-imbibing jollity take place within the Imperial Domains of Perth, Western Australia.
Tirelessly working for neither profit nor promotion “up queue” at hot beverage refreshment kiosks, we fondly hope to facilitate the wonderfully creative and rich world of neo-Victorian design, aesthetics, art, fashion and fabrication with our fellow Citizens of Perth-Upon-Swan.
As a Society of Amateur Gentlefolk Enthusiasts, we are always keen to meet new Artists and Artisans, Scientists and Explorers, Zeppelin Captains and Aviatrixes, Musical Performers and Givers of Improving Lectures. Please make yourself known to us, and we will be sure to write your details in our best copperplate for punch-card entry into the Babbage Analytical Address-Finding Engines.

Hi, love your work. I’ve tried to get to all your events and have managed none; just my poor luck that I’ve had other (unavoidable) events on the same days or found out about them too late. It occurs to me however that at every medieval fayre in the past few years, there is always a contingent of people in steampunk.
Given the level of organisation, professionalism and success of the events that the Steampunk Affaire seems to hold (and I only say “seems” as I haven’t made it to any myself but everyone who has speaks highly), have you considered holding an annual weekend steampunk fair?
